I've now expanded the introduction and added a personal note with thanks and references etc to those that helped. There were many spelling errors and grammatical mistakes (coding software doesn't really catch these easily) which have now been corrected, including some inconsistent formatting also. Okay, the file got a major update and is pretty much a complete overhaul with one final QA pass! I'll keep adding to this and updating it, but the next step for me is to create a README on the GitHub to instruct and illustrate further personalisation's you can make yourself as well as dreaming of that app I can't code. If there's anything missing, included, incorrect, spelt wrong, anything at all, just let me know and I'll change it asap. Especially given how hostile Valve are to the community and lots of the old tweaks either don't work anymore or cause new issues.
I'm just hoping it provides a more recent and relevant basis for all, new or old, coming to the game in 2021 and googling threads that are 6+ years out of date.
